Outemu browns , and really any switch are good for gaming and it really comes down to preference. I'd say mx speed silvers are similar to Razer yellow, followed by reds (lower/normal actuation point) and Gateron yellow non-optical (slightly heavier and a lower/normal actuation point as well) Optical yellow are lighter and have a higher actions The Gateron Yellow switch is an excellent switching option for those who prefer a mechanical keyboard with a linear switch. It’s a very smooth, quiet, vertical pressing sensation with no clicks. Ideal for office work, long term typing, and even playing games. Among the Gateron switches, the red switch seems to be more common among keyboard The Red switches are very light (1mm actuation / 40g force) so it takes some time to get used to. My favorite for typing is probably the Blackwidow Ultimate 2012. The Razer Greens provide a nice tactile bump, and require 50g of force giving it more of that type writer feel. They are very loud however. Linear switches are the quitetest, they're just a spring, so completely silent unless you bottom out the keys. But Cherry linears aren't that great, they're pretty rough and scratchy, I'd recommend Gateron Yellow instead The only other set I'd like as of current in the lineup of Joy-Con are the Neon Yellow as yellow is my favorite color. Weirdly enough, I fell in love with the Splatoon 2 Green and Pink and actually would LOVE a pair for my Switch. xD Or hoping to get a Pro Controller to round out the controller family. 3. At the very least it is an easy working platform to test different switch options in live use (vs a small switch tester). The build quality is reasonable as is the cost. Reply reply .
